An EcolAd is a digital publication transmitted by using EcolAds platform. This digital publication contains a link to a document we wish to transmit (.PDF, .PNG, .RTF...).

This allows flyer type traditional communication to be replaced by a more environmentally-friendly solution.

I can transmit an EcolAd to every household that has an EcolAds sticker pasted on its post box.

You just have to scan the QR code of the sticker fixed on your recipient’s post box, that is to say, to scan the QR code of this sticker (see next question for more information about this subject), and then follow the instructions which will be displayed from the www.ecolads.com website.

To scan a QR code with your smartphone or a device equipped with a camera, you have several options:

• In using a functionality of QR code reading already available on your smartphone (Example in some Samsung smartphones with the Web browser called "Internet", an option exists in the menu with the name: "Scan QR code", this option may be needed to be enabled in the extensions settings)
• Or in scanning a QR code of a sticker directly with our service
• Or in using an application available freely in smartphones applications stores, for example:
  • QR Droid Code Scanner for Android
  • QR Reader for iPhone
• Or in using a Web QR code scanner

No. The publication via EcolAds platform is anonymous, no user is able to know publisher personal data.

I can subscribe by pasting an EcolAds sticker on my post box. And then I have to scan the sticker with my smartphone, my tablet or my laptop, and follow instructions which will be displayed on the www.ecolads.com website.

My sticker’s QR code contains only an anonymous unique identifier number.

We advise you to login into your EcolAds account, and to remove the sticker associated to your previous address. About your new address: if your post box is already equipped with an EcolAds sticker, you will be able to associate it to your personal account if the previous occupant gave you the activation code related. Otherwise you will have to peel off the previous sticker and to paste a new one onto your post box. You can associate the new sticker in going to "My Stickers" section of your EcolAds account.

Users have the option to choose whether or not to receive publications from non-connected, anonymous, and even professional publishers if they wish. So your posts may be blocked for some users depending on the choices they made.

You can inform us thanks to the contact form, in reporting to us which advertisement(s) and when.

Some publications may be part of a raffle draw.
These publications are marked by a "prize" icon in the EcolAds emails. In viewing a publication marked by a prize icon, I participate to a raffle draw which may lets me win one of the prizes involved.

Rules about raffle draws organized by EcolAds:

• People allowed to participate: every subscribed user to EcolAds service by the mean of plateform www.ecolads.com.
• Some publications may be part of a raffle draw. These publications are marked by a "prize" icon in the emails sent by EcolAds to its users.
• Participation: in viewing a publication marked by a prize icon, the EcolAds user participate to a raffle draw which may let him win one of the prizes involved.
• Games without obligation to purchase.
• The awarding of the prizes cannot be contested. Furthermore no correspondence will be entered about contests organization.
• Dates and deadlines of raffle draws will be indicated in the "Raffle draws list" section.
